Circular Economy Entrepreneurship – evaluation meeting in Zadar, Croatia

Evaluation meeting within the project “Circular Economy Entrepreneurship” took place in Zadar, Croatia from 11th of March until 15th of March 2024, and brought together youth workers from partner organisations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Italy and Montenegro.

The evaluation meeting was designed and developed to empower participating youth workers to develop, implement and evaluate youth work activities and programs focused on ecology, sustainability, and circular economy to target NEET young people in local communities for development and creation of entrepreneurial opportunities in line with the principles of the circular economy. This is second activity within the project, and during this event participants had a chance to share more about the follow-up activities they implemented within their organisations and local communities.

During the first part of the event, participants had a chance to meet each other, present their daily youth work activities in partner organisations and share realities of their countries and local communities regarding the topics of circular economy, sustainability and entrepreneurship.

After that participants dived into sharing information about the impact that the training course and local events have made on our participants and other youth workers, volunteers, and coordinators in partner organisations, and youngsters as the main target group of these local level activities. Details about the process and results of local level educational activities and workshops implemented by participants of the training course in their local communities, were shared.

Participants also shared challenges faced by different partners/participants in coordinating and organising local level educational events.

In the evenings, participants were able to share information about their countries, cities, cultures, traditions and customs, as well as to try sweets and snacks from participating countries through intercultural evenings. They were also able to present their organisations and ongoing projects.

After this second and final mobility event of the project, partners will move to phase of disseminating the project results within their networks.
