Story of SPIN - Chapter I
SPIN – an idea that started in 2016. and by the end of 2018, it has become an organisation. Our goal is to contribute to the development of a society with positive values, a society that is recognising the importance of critical thinking, healthy lifestyles and providing equal opportunities for all. Spin is dedicated to creating and providing equal opportunities for all.
The organisation started firstly in 2016. as an informal group of youth workers involved actively in programs and projects on a local and international level. Through its existence as an informal group and as an organisation, Spin works on developing projects, activities and methodologies involving the combination of learning and experience – experiential learning. Activities of Spin are focused on young people in local communities and providing them knowledge and skills through educational activities, trainings, exchanges and international activities.

Our online counselling
In 2023 Spin has opened online counselling – online psychologist service for all interested individuals coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently, this service is available online and in BHS languages. Activities and experience
SPIN has experienced staff working in the field on non-formal education and increasing competencies of youth workers for the last 10 years in the Erasmus+ program and former Youth in Action program. Projects and local level activities of SPIN are focused on promoting healthy lifestyles, violence prevention, drug and alcohol prevention and mental health promotion.
Democratic society and media literacy, entrepreneurship and social and ecological aspects of entrepreneurship are just some of the topics our staff is passionate about. We involve youth from urban centres as well as youth from remote areas of our country in our activities. Also, we are focused on providing educational trainings and courses for youth outside the school system.
In last years, we have been more included in international cooperation and using our previous experiences and knowledge/skills of our staff, to raise our activities to a higher international level. We have been part of the educational activities and campaigns focused on empowering youth to think about decision making, starting their smaller businesses and similar things.
